I have a JVC AV-27D104. It has a problem where the "picture" control doesn't adjust making the TV very dark...like looking through fog. I take the back off and it starts working, I put the back back on and it stops working, making the picture dark again. Suspect it is a bad solder joint or cracked run but don't know where to start looking. Any ideas? Thanks, Ken

Stacy, We have a 36" JVC TV model #AV-36950 serial#11330260 dated June 1998 chassis A70. When we turn it on it will shut off itself after about 2 hrs. of viewing. We were told to unplug it for 10 mins. then replug it in and it stays on for less and less time after repeating this process until it finally wont come on at all. Independant repair companies have quoted up to $300 to correct this so I would like to fix this on my own if possible. Can you please tell the parts necessary and how to fix it? It would be greatly appreciated . We're a family of 5 on a tight budget so you know where I'm coming from. Thanking you in advance for any info, Sincerely, John

I have a GR-DF430U mini DV camera and it is generating a Lenscap error. I take the cap off but there's no change. I see nothing, blackscreen. Is there a fix for this?

I have a JVC GR-D270U that was purchased in November 2005 and not used until April 2006. Therefore it is NOT under labor warentee and canNOT be returned to the store. The error is "Unit is Safeguard Mode" error #6. Supposedly it will cost more to fix than to purchase another camera. Any sugestions? Thanks

I have a GRD30U When I switch it on open the tape door, it says E04 - in safegaurd mode, eject and re-insert tape. Any solutions ? The estimated repair cost is more than half the price of the camcorder

Hi Stacy: I have a JVC TV Model AC-27950 with no vertical height. I do not have any test equipment except a Volt/Ohmmeter and no diagram butI beleive the problem is the Vertical IC, Part NO. IC-421. Also, Could you tell me the value of Resistor R-542. It appears to have over-heated and reads about 20 Meg. Ohms. And where is the best place to buy parts for this TV? Your assistance is very much appreciated. My address is Joe Brickey 4287 Greenwood Drive Jonesborough, TN 37659

I am trying to find the driver download for a JVC (analog!) compac camcorder model no GR FXM38EG .When I put in my "in" gate on the pc both A/V (Audio/Video) nothing happens and even putting both cables into the special pink connector witch ends (on the other end) in a S/video cable in connector in the card(all 128 card), the camera is still not detected. so impossible to ransform several cassettes into one dvd (digital) Thanks
