Re: JVC service or questions

Hi

I have a JVC television model number AV-27CM3 made in 1992 that will not turn on.

I looked in the back and found when you try to turn on the tv a little black box near the on button just clicks.

On this black box there is writing. DG1U, 12vDC, TV-5 and DEC-which I think is the company .

Could this be my problem. If so is it worth getting fixed since the tv is 15 years old.

If this is not the problem is there something simple or major.
