Re: JVC service or questions

Please help.I have a JVC TV AV28X37HKE which is about 3 years old. I turned it on and the screen is blank/black although the green on light is illuminated. There is a loud ticking noise from the inside rear of the set which lasts for 3minutes and then the set turns itself to standby displaying the red light for about 2 seconds and then turns itself back on to the same blank screen and ticking noise. This then repeats itself continuously as above. Can anyone explain this problem to me and is it easily fixed by an adjustment or the replacement of a part..????????? Please help..
