Re: JVC service or questions

I have a JVC Compact VHS Camcorder, Model # GR-SXM250U. All features
seem to work correctly except record function. LCD panel and viewfinder are both black when in record mode. Playback of recording material is black.
During playback of recorded material recorded prior to trouble is fine.
Lens cap warning blinks briefly at beginning of playback even though it is
off. Please assist with any information and troubleshooting tips
