I cannot find the patch cord to plug the Camcorder into my Sony Vaio Laptop Computer anywhere. I Got the Camera originally from Walmart and they cant help me. Can you lead me the right direction to obtain this cord?

  Camcorders have a four pin Dvi socket also known as "firewire" for their output, so the cable used has one end with a four pin firewire plug and the other end with either another firewire plug, this being four or six pin to match whatever the computer uses, or the more commonly used USB plug.
  
  Less problems are usually experienced using firewire coupling between devices, although in saying that there are always exceptions!
