Re: Error Codes Assistance

Panasonic DMR EX85 DVD recorder.
I am on my second machine and am still having problems with picture freeze and stutters on TV viewing and TV recording. I have had an error code U80 with total loss of picture / signal.
It does seem to me to be signal related as a weak signal is worse, although it still occurs on 10/10 signal strength/quality.
Panasonic simply ask to return it to a service centre.
Do you know what this error code means?
