Home | Previous messageI have a rear projection JVC TV that's 3 -4 years old, I don't have the model number with me at the moment. The picture freezes for an instant and when it freezes it gets little random squares on the picture and then it works for a few minutes and does it again. I didn't know if this was a problem with the tv or a problem with the cable box. I'm thinking its the tv. Could you tell me what the problem is? Thanks. Pamela Pich

The symptoms you describe can be a normal occurrence with digital reception being interfered with, from whatever the source. If your TV does not have a digital tuner then its the cable box at fault, but I would leave it a few days to verify its not the service provider having a temporary glitch with their equipment rather than the actual box being faulty. |
