Re[4]: JVC service or questions

I have the same problem with my JVC - AV 36260. I called a service agent today and was told the cost would be $195 + parts (Around $50 to $60 bucks for parts). I have never worked with soldering tools etc., do you think I would be in over my head trying to replace parts? I always heard it was dangerous to work with certain areas of the TV guts. Your thougths please.
