I am so grateful to have found your 'fix' when I googled my 'white screen' problem on my Sony DSC-W80. I still can't believe it worked! Better than that, it was free! Too bad I missed out on capturing video clips of my daughter's first fieldtrip today. Luckily I had my Canon DSLR (Rebel XTi) as backup and was able to capture those memories through photos. Thanks again for your help!
