  hi,i have Sony CCD-TRV85 NTSC , the problem is that the image when it is recordered or when it is played while the tape is recordered from another camera , the image is not good , i mean the video signal while the audio is good , and the image is not good on the LCD and also at the vedio terminal , so i think the problem in the Head , or in the vidou PCB , i mean the mother board , but i think it is almost in the main PCB , so could you help me in this and if you have the head and the main PCB , and what is the price .

  hello, i need the part for the sony handcam that is like a swivel type thing for the lcd screen it has a bunch of ribbon cable attached to it and a button that would turn the lcd screen off when it was shut. can you help me find this part please?!?!?! thanks so much, Katie

  Hi my friend has a sony ccd v5000 that was fixed by sony shortly after the camera was bought, the camera later developed the same problem. Unfortunately he did not fix it when parts were available and now he was told that it cant be fixed due to lack of parts and the age of this item (THE CAMERA HOWEVER IS STILL In MINT CONDITION).
  
  The problem seams to me to be a defective electronic board that causes the picture to seam as if it is not tracking correctly, not sure if it is the actual alinement of the drum, but i think not. because from what i was told the camera began to show tracking distortion without the tape running and or when using some of the digital effects.
  
  It is shameful that in my experience also with sony consumer product that they all seam to be apparently designed to fail. I personally have dumped no less then a dozen low end consumer sony product due to failure with the last 10 year before STOPPING to by any sony products. SONY SHOULD BE DECENT COMPANY TO ADMIT THIS CAMERA HAD FAULY BOARDS AND REPLACE THEM, his repair bill at the time was over 180 USD and the camera failed again within the year.
  
  Can you please fix this camera and about how much will it cost, he has many Hi8 tapes he wants to transfer to dvd.

  i have a trinitron sony tv. a friend gave me.he said that the sound card is no good that is why there is no sound.how much would it cost me to fix this sound card
