I loaned my Sony DCR-TRV30 Digital Video Camera to my sister as she is making a documentary and didn't have equipment to do the job. She accidentally broke the power zoom lever. She's offered to pay to have it fixed, put so far I can't find the part and if I send it in for repair, it will cost a fortune. Something she just can't afford. Hoping to find the part online and maybe my husband could install it. Help!

    Hello,

This is the year 2007 and you posted your message about assisting those interested in becoming camera technicians. Do you still do that and if so where would be a good place to begin? I live in Atlanta,GA.

    Thank you!

    Ben.

I have a sony PD - 150 that I bought on Ebay. I bought this camera not
knowing that it was PAL format. I couldn't get final cut to capture from the camera VTR or the sony
VTR recorder that is made for the mini digital tape. I sent my camera to the sony people in New Jersey,
they said nothing was wrong with the camera, it's a PAL format. So now I will have to get a converter to
use my camera, but something else is very wrong, the sony people said the camera is alright, but the LCD
screen shows a grainy picture, could you tell me what this could be. JA Miller

I have a Sony cd/dvd player DVP-NC600. Last night it started flashing E 27 00 and then turns itself off. I read earlier that it is probably a belt, but could find not a soul at Sony willing to help me. The advise I received from repair shops was to throw it away and buy a new one. Is this an easy fix that I can do(am mechanically inclined)at home or is this thing ready to be junked? I've had no problems in the past & love the quality of the picture. Plus,it matches the rest of the surround sound theater. Please help!
