I AM AN AUTHORIZED SONY CENTER CAMCORDER TECHNICIAN WANTING TO HELP OTHER TECHS IN REPAIRING CAMERAS.ALSO WILL HELP OTHERS FIND - RESEARCH PART NUMBERS- OR ORDER SONY PARTS FOR OTHERS.

  Sony rear projection 53" TV (approx. 1996)
  
  Owner's manual is Color Rear Video Projector, Model # KP-53S15
  
  When TV is turned on, it takes from 10 to 20 minutes for the picture to appear (the sound comes on, though). When shut off after use, it will turn on with picture if too much time has not elapsed. But, if turned off until the next day, it takes the 10 to 20 minutes to "warm up' again.
  
  It has done this before. A module was replaced by others approximately 5 years ago which remedied the problem until now.
  
  What is the part/module that needs replaced and where can it be purchased in Minneapolis/St. Paul area?

  I have my Sony KP-61XBR300 at a TV repair place anf they tell me that it needs a new A-Board, but that the board is not available. Can the A-board be found and how much do they cost?

  just seen your message although you put it on quite some time ago. anyway i have a sony handyman dcr-hc19e pal and when you open the screen there is nothing but when the screen is shut the info can be seen through the viewfinder. obviously the lcd screen has a problem and i was wondering if or is it worth repairing.

  camera DCR-SR42 has a flip open lcd screen.... the cable that connect the lcd to the body of the camera is broken..
  
  do you know the part number for it?
  better yet, do you sell this cable?
