I AM AN AUTHORIZED SONY CENTER CAMCORDER TECHNICIAN WANTING TO HELP OTHER TECHS IN REPAIRING CAMERAS.ALSO WILL HELP OTHERS FIND - RESEARCH PART NUMBERS- OR ORDER SONY PARTS FOR OTHERS.

  Here's another thing that worked for me - the cassette carriage would come up, but would not pop the cassette OUT. Whilst the carriage was up and exposed, I gently hut the main outer door on the exposed carriage (there's not a lot of movment there so go easy). This appeared to send a 'second' signal to the camera to attempt the eject, the camera had another go at ejecting the cassette and it worked!

  I have a Sony Model No. ICF-9740W FM/AM 2 Band Radio. SN: 259903 My on/off-volume control has failed and I need it replaced. The part number on the assembly is: 1-602-999-12 HCT-40 94V-0. Can you help me find a replacement?
