Hi, I have this error 13 in my car audio player. The brand is Bluesky, model BCR716. I've looked through the manual and i didnt find any error code explanations. I've googled it and it seems that other people have the same problem with other car audio as well. The problem occurs when I insert my usb stick to play the mp3s on it. (It used to work before but it played only a small number of mp3s) I tried multiple usb sticks of different brands and i get the same error. Other people have the same error when they try to read mp3s from a SD card they insert in the device. I think this error code must be some kind of standards but i can't seem to find them. Any ideas? Thanks

I have a Sony STR DE597 tuner. Fairly new- taken good care of it. Whenever the volume gets to a certain point it stops making sound and the message "Protect" shows. The volume does not have to get very loud at all for it to kick in. This happens when it is cold or has been playing for a while. Any ideas?

I have a Sony Mavica MCD250. Had it for 4 years. I dropped it recently. The door came open and disk popped out. Put it back in and closed the door. All fit with no apparent distortion or anything broken. Everything fits and the door closed snug as before. When I turn it on I keep gettin a "Door Open" error message. I tried removing the battery and waiting 48 hours and reinserting but got the same message. Any suggestions? Thanks for your time. Ron rohr

Stacy, I have a '98 GM car with a stock radio/CD player. It has always worked fine with purchased CD albums. I recently burned a CD-R type disc on my computer with some downloaded music. It works fine in the car as well. Then, I burned a CD-RW type disc on the same computer with more downloaded music. It works fine on the computer. But when trying to play it in the car, the player ejects it with an "E 20" display. The burned discs are brand new. I don't think the car player needs cleaning since it works fine for all other discs. Could it be that the '98 GM player cannot play a CD-RW type disc? Thank you for any help. Bill
