Error Codes Assistance

Assistance for Error Codes

If anyone is having any kind of Error code, clean head icon or any other concern, contact me first before assuming you have a problem. My e-mail is Ssample@jvc.com.

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

Please refer to this site if you contact me. Thank you.

Hi. I have the error code c:31:23 on my camcorder. Every so often it is c:31:22 and when it started (right in the middle of our trip to Hawaii) it was c:31:24. Any idea what it might be and how I can fix it? I tried the old smack it a couple times method I read about online but it did not work for us. Our model is Sony 560x Digital Zoom Digital 8 Steadyshot Digital Effect DCR-TRV140 NTSC We are at a loss. Please help us if you can. I found your info on the PECHORIN's sight with a note to contact you for help.

    Thanks!

We have a JVC GR-DX75U which we haven't used for several month. I charged it for our daughter's birthday party today. When I put in a new tape and tried to use it the screen shows "Memory Card". We haven't had to use one in the past to video. I inserted a card from a digital camera and the video camera showed only the pictures on the card. It won't allow me to access the menu either as I tried to reprogram the date and time.

We haven't used the camera much at all and this is the first real issue which has manifested. Of course it had to occur for our daughter's 10th birthday party with all her friends.

    Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

On my Beta Sp UVW-1800 I have an ERROR 06-6A7 message, listed as excessive tension detected while in play/rec mode.

The tape is still inside the cassette, not wound out, but it won't eject.

    What's the fix?

I usually like to make archive copies of my audio CDs for use in my vehicle so I don't damage my originals. Some copies I have made lately when tried in the vehicle CD player give an error message of CD ER3 or CD ER6 whilst working fine on the computer. The originals work fine in the vehicle. Any thoughts.
