Sara Cook - 12th Jan 2005 3:51 We have a 1.5 year-old JVC GR-D30u that suddenly stopped recording the picture - only sound. We tried all different settings and nothing would work. We tried different tapes as well. Playback works fine, but when we try to record, the picture looks completely out of focus (you can't distinguish any shapes) but it records all the sound. After many attempts at different settings, etc, we put it away and then got it out a week or so later, and suddenly it was working fine again. Then a few minutes into taping the visual went out again and now we can't get it to work. Any suggestions?

I have just inhereted a JVC tv. Model AV20820 it seems fine when just turned on, but in a few minutes the screen goes all wavy vertically. is this a tube problem, or something I can fix, or is it worth taking to a repair shop.. I am sure the tv is at least 10 or more yrs old..

Delmar Patterson - 12th Jan 2005 14:46 I have a JVC camcorder model number GR-M5U, and when in record mode everything appears negative. Black appears as white and visa-vera. It records that way on the media also. Is there a setting that needs changing?

Hello,
I am a school teacher who uses a JVC GR-D70U digital video camera. It is about 1 1/2 years old. When I went to use the camera today, it would not display a picture in the field of view. I can watch previous tapes, and record sound, but the view finder is black. It blinks (LENS CAP) for several seconds before the message disappears. There is no lens cap on the recorder. Can you give me any suggestions as to what has happened? Do you know how it can be fixed and approximately how much it would cost?
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Jennifer Hartman Central York High School 300 East 7th Ave. York, PA 17404 (717)846-6789 Voice mail #3109

Jim Degener - 12th Jan 2005 18:54 I have a JVC 8000V. There was a short circuit to one of the speakers, which I fixed, but cannot get the "overload" to staop flashing. How do I reset the unit?
