I recently bought a used car that has a kd s580 cd player but the display doesn't work. The readout is literally jumbled and looks as if it is written in a foreign language. The cd player works but you can't eject a cd once it is in the player and the function buttons do not operate properly. I have cleaned the connectors as instructed in the manual(downloaded from JVC) but nothing seems to help. The unit seems to be playing properly but the faceplate is just whacked. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Martin A. - 12th Mar 2005 21:12 Hello,
I have recently bought an add-on car cd changer model CH-X1500RF and had it installed today. After about 15 - 20 minutes of correct operation (playing MP3 files, changing discs, folders, forwarding etc) I tried to forward a song and than the changer kept forwarding for about 10 seconds, suddenly changed the disc to number 12 and from that moment it refused to respond to key presses. All I can do now is turn the unit On or Off and do the reset - the rest of the buttons on the control do not work. I tried to disconnect all the wires and connect them again and also did the reset a few times - but it does not help. After I press "POwer On" the unit turns on and plays the first disc (I can hear the music via the RF modulator) but can not do anything else. Is there anything else I can do with it? I have the unit imported to Poland (it was bought in the US) so it is kind of hard to have it returned. Thanks in advance regards martin A.

I have the GR-D32 JVC Digital Video Camera. My husbond and I are having a hard time getting started with this camcorder. It would be nice to have a video of the camera and step by step guide to using, from turning it on ,to taking out the tape, to hooking it to the vcr or making a dvdor video. We are over fifty and have a hard time following instructions with electrinics. we got a viedo with our new tread mill, but we still know how to walk,:)! This is just a sugestion, but would be, "A GOOD THING"
Thank you, Judy Marie Allen

I want to get my tape out but when I open it the tape doesn't pop out. Please someone help me with instructions on how I can get this working again or a the very least, how can I get my tape out of the recorder.

I have a JVC MP3 player fitted in my car. It was working fine for 2 yrs and now it's not taking any CDs. When I insert the cd, it goes in upto 75% and then eject it back. The tuner works fine. Can I fix the problem or I have to throw this away and buy a new one? How do I fix it?
