khargonkar - 28th Mar 2005 11:42 I have JVC video camera GR-D33AG sNO. 178Y0094. It was working fine till one month back. Last month my daughter operated the damera. Now I only see coloured vertical lines on the LCD / view finder. I had gone to the setting and selected the "Execute" .i.e factory setting , but not effect. The camera is recording ( what ever is displayed on the screen , it plays back)
would request help, is it a setting problem?

Ryan, I have just got the same issue as you. Have you resolved it yet? What is the answer if you have?
Thanks
Bruce

Rebecca - 20th Apr 2005 10:55 I have the same issue. We separated the two halves of the camera but the connecting cord was still intact and we now still have the same problem. Looks like we'll take it in for service but that will be costy. It's a pity because we have not had the camera long--less than 2 years.

Take all of the screws out of the exterior and also behind the LCD. There is also a screw in the S-Video port if yours is equipped. Carefully pull the two sections apart. It will take patience. Looking from the rear of the camera, there is a connector joining the two halves. Disconnect it. Wait about 5 minutes. This appeared to do a "hard reset" on the camera because I had to reset the date and time and all of my settings. This took about an hour but, I had to hush a 2 week old baby a few times. I have been error free for 3 days now. And that is a record for me. Hope it keeps working and I hope this works for someone.

The other night when I turned my JVC Gigatube (model # 126C3037) on it started to play and then it shut off. Whenever I turned it back on the sound would not work. Everything else is working as it normaly would there is just no sound what so ever. I didn't recieve an owners manual with this product. So I have no clue what I should do to get it playing again. Please help.

I HAVE A 27" JVC TV MODEL AV-2750S ITS APPROX.15 YEARS OLD.THE SPEAKERS ARE MOUNTED ON THE SIDE. DURING LOW TO MEDIUM VOLUME SOUND CUTS OUT TO LOWER VOLUME AND THEN SUDDENLY COMES BACK. I THINK BOTH SPEAKERS ARE AFFECTED AT THE SAME TIME. IF I TURN UP THE VOLUME ALL THE WAY THE SPEAKER(S) COME BACK ON. I THINK ITS NOT THE SPEAKER THEMSELVES BUT MAYBE SOMETHING TO DO WITH A VOLUME CONTROL THING INSIDE TV. I HAVE ALSO NOTICED POSSIBLY ONLY SOME CHANNELS ARE AFFECTED BY THIS DIFFERENCE IN VOLUME. I WOULD LIKE TO REPAIR THIS MYSELF SINCE BRINGING IT IN FOR SERVICE WOULD INVOLVE LIFTING A HEAVY TV. CAN YOU HELP. WHAT DO YOU THINK IS WRONG? IS THE "PART" EXPENSIVE? COULD I DO IT MYSELF? WHERE CAN I ORDER PART FROM? THANKS.

JVC 35" Model 35790 purchased in 1997
TV guide plus was working OK. Put in new TV stand, and unhooked TV. Upon re-hooking up, TV guide plus will not work. TV is hooked up exactly same (I only disconnect at the wall; did not unhook anything on back of TV) Keeps telling me to input setup. I have used my real zipcode 68116, I tried the 99999 for zipcode, tried 00000 for zipcode, unplugged TV overnight. Have done tuner setup, then TV Guide setup. TV works fine except for TV guide plus.
No cable box used.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Neal
