Assistance with JVC product

  I have a JVC Digi Cam model number GR-DVL317U that keeps giving me an E03 error message and states that the unit is in Safegard mode. It instructs me to remove and replace the battery, which I have done, but it still reads E03. Not sure what I can do...

  I have a jvc gr-dvl166 adn I've hooked it up to my computer and can't seem to get any pictures going, i've no longer got the indtruction manual. Could you please help?

  My AV-36980 (purchased 99)won't turn on as others have stated. Worked normal, next morning will not turn on. Nothing got zapped, all other electroincs are fine. I can't locate a service manaul, to see what this capacitor looks like.

  I have a KD-S640 car cd player, i installed, triple checked that the three power leads are working or in the right place, its a brand new harness, but when i try to turn it on nothing happens. but?! if i put in a disk, eject a disk or push the display button. it come on for a few seconds but the shuts right off

  I BOUGHT A JVC CD CHANGER FOR MY SUV AND FOUND OUT THAT I NEEDED A CONTROLLER/FM MODULATOR...I CALLED JVC AT 1-800-882-2345 AND WAS INFORMED THAT I NEEDED A KS-RF37 MODULATOR FOR MY UNIT TO WORK. WHEN I RECEIVED IT, I INSTALLED IT. NOW I KEEP GETTING A R-8 CODE ON THE REMOTE... THE INSTRUCTIONS DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO OR HOW TO FIX THIS PROBLEM???? YOU THINK THAT YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO HELP??? YOU CAN CALL ME AT (408-365-7252) MY HOME AND JUST ASK FOR RUSS...
  OH!!!! BY THE WAY, THE JVC OPERATOR THAT I TALKED TO, SAID THAT THE PART THAT I WANTED WASN'T IN STOCK. SO I ORDER IT FROM SOME GUY IN SEATTLE AND IT DIDN'T COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS....   I purchased a JVC Digital Video Camera 10/12/03. It is no longer under warranty and I am having a heck of a time getting any help with the problem. About a month ago it intermitantally began to say "Lens cap on" when trying to record. The lens cap is not on and all I get is a black screen. I am unable to record or see a picture on the viedo screen.

  Stacy I have a jvc analog video camera model GR-M31E which was bought in Singapore about 10 years ago.It has just recently been playing up. When in camera mode the image you see in the eyepiece is a negative like image.All other aspect's of the camera work fine. Is this a problem with a chip on the motherboard ? or can a potentiometer be tweaked to restore the image correctly.
  
  Any help would be appreciated even a circuit diagram or tech manual may be of help. I've been to the JVC world and asian websites and this model number isn't

  I have a JVC GR-D33U camcorder,the problem is that I cannot see a subject, neither through the viewfinder, nor on the lcd screen,if I put my hand in front the lense I see nothing but different coloured streeks covering the whole area.
  I am in a small caribbean island and there are no service shops here.I would greatly appreciate your help.

    I have the same problem. I just see vertical lines... so cannot shoot anything. But the view finder does play the older video properly. Does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks, Mahesh

    hello, i have the same problem with my jvc camcorder grd32u. it has different colored veretcal lines when put into a record mode. how can this be repaired? thanks scotty

  I have MODEL : GRDVL 910 E, when ever i switch on my camera it goes into safe mode, and also started entagling the vedio cassete. Please help
