I have a JVC GR-SXM330U camcorder. When in PLAY mode, the controls ie, play, rev, rew, and stop do not work. If I push the stop button and let off, it will play. When I push the stop button and hold it down, it stops. If I push either the Menu wheel or the P.AE button, it will eject the tape. It acts VERY strange. When it was put up, it was fine, but now after 2 years, this is how it acts. Can You help? I found this forum at pechorin.com.
Thanks, Randy

Paige - 5th Jul 2005 14:46 We have a JVC I art flat screen television. Not sure if this is the problem- but we went out of town over the weekend and came home to half of the house without power- we turned the circuits back on and everything works- however, or television will no longer work with the remote or by pressing the on/off button on the television itself. The telvision is fairly new- only about two years old. It is very nice and we don't know what to do. We have left it unplugged for a day hoping that would reset it but it still does not work. We are thinking of bringing it in for someone to look at- any suggestions- ot should we just get rid of it and get a new one- although that pains me considering how new it is!
Thanks for having this available to us as a way to get our questions answered!

Michelle - 5th Jul 2005 15:08 Having major trouble with my camcorder after first couple months of use. Poor customer service. No response from John Rasa. Am I stuck with a lemon?
The zoom is stuck on my camcorder. The cost to repair it is nearly the value of the camcorder. This was after less than six months of use. I have tried to get a resolution from JVC for months and have gotten rude service, no reponse to calls and emails and the camera keeps getting worse. I've had the "lens cap on" message, the screen goes to black and won't record at all, this in addition to the zoom issue. I've been assured that the zoom problem is not a "known issue" with your product, but I have a growing stack of complaints that would indicate otherwise. At this point, I have a camera that is completely useless. I bought it to record my child's first year, and I have about an hour of her first four months. I'm frustrated to no end with my experience with your company. Should everyone that shells out $400 for your camcorders expect to get 4 months of use, then it breaks and you either shell out more money or accept the fact that you got screwed? I believe that you should replace my camera. If your products are not inherently crappy, then you'll agree that I got a "bad" one and replace it. I would be glad to give you another chance, but not at my expense. I'm considering myself "fooled once." At the very least, will you please direct me to the best suited person in your organization to hear my case? Thank you.

Hi. I purchased a 27" JVC AV-27530 television less than 4 years ago and i am having a problem with horizontal lines running across the screen for about the first 5" of the screen. I've been told that it might be the vertical deflection system. I was wondering if this is the problem and it is something i might be able to resolve myself or should i just toss it out. I would appreciate any advice.
Thanks
Jim
