I have a 32" JVC tv model # AV-32f702...I have a few thin white lines at the very top of my set and a series of dashes below it. I have been scouring the net for help on this and read where someone had a 27" jvc not the same model as mine not even the same size but that he replaced the c424 capacitor and it fixed his problem which was identical to mine. I purchased the cap tried to find it on my board...not there, it would stand to reason that my tv is different than that guys and thus the boards are different. It seems that my problem is an easy fix if I just knew which cap tp change. I have the parts list and all necessary tools, I just need to know which cap to buy. I would be forever grateful for your assistance, I really dont want to blow over a G yet on a plasma...I'd like to get another year out of my set, I really like it, but the lines at the top are starting to bother me as I seem to fixate on it. I have a JVC GR-DX97U I Just got it back from the service department who replaced the ccd chip I believe. It had been giving me the lens cap error. Anyway I just got it back and tried to use it and it's saying that it is in safe mode and that I need to eject the tape and reinsert. I have done this and nothing has changed. the error is E03. Please help asap. If I can get it out of safe mode without having to send it in again that would be great. Derek Cook

As I see from the forums I have the common problem that I get the lense cap error message, the wide & Telephoto still works.But It will not record as it doesn't regsister any image. 13 month old just out of warranty. Looks like a Sony in my future.Mike.

I recently sent in my JVC GR-D72U Mini DV Camcorder for an Error Repair and got it back quickly! However now I get a message "Eject tape and reinsert-Safeguard Mode". It will not allow me to record anything. Any help?

Hi there, I have a JVC GR-D60 model which isn't loading tapes into the it and error code E03 appears and tell me to reinsert the tape?! The loading door will shut if there is no tape in however. Please help, Thanks Kelly

Hi, I have a jvc tv model AV-36985, I got the power back, however there is now a buzzing sound & I cannot get the tv to come back on without unplugging it 1st & then replugging it back in, any assistance is appreciated!

I have a JVC tv that i some how locked out 2 channel & when i goto menu under v-chip or set lock code it shows a lock & i did not set it to lock !, it locked itself some how & i have no idea what the code would be. Is there a way to reset it? I've tried redoing channel search, no change, i've tried unpluging the tv,no change tried the channel summary, no change i need to get this lock off my tv so i can watch my satelite & use my vcr/dvd player to watch movies. please HELP!!!

hi my camcorder is showing errors, unit in safeguard mode, remove and reattach battery. although there is no tape in at the moment, the unit will not eject at all.
