Lisa - 1st Feb 2006 1:36 Hi there, I still have my JVC compact VHS recorder model GR-AXM300 that I bought in Dec. 1998. It still works great and hasn't broken down at all. My problem is I don't know how to connect it to my PC to convert this 8mm video into a digital DVD.
Now I know this can be done because I usually have a local company convert my tapes to digital files and it's costing me ALOT of money. I would rather spend the money to get the right equipment to do it myself at home.
Can anyone help me? What hardware/software, cables, etc. do I need to install on my laptop to hook my old camcorder to my laptop to convert the video files? Thanks in advance! Lisa
