Re: JVC service or questions Dr. S.K. Pattanayak - 3rd Jun 2006 9:12 Dear Sir, I have a compact JVC VHS camcorder model No GR-SXM730. Unfortunately the flap(cable) transmitting data to LCD is cut. It being an old model the cable is longer. I want to purchase a new cable. In this regard I want its price and the name of the centre in Delhi from which I can purchase it. Awaiting your reply Regards Dr. S.K. Pattanayak ph.09868485853 sanjaya_delhi@yahoo.com

Robert - 5th Jun 2006 14:59 I have a JVC GR-DVL310 Digital Video Camera. I took it with me on a recent camping trip, but had forgotten the AC adapter. I went to the local electronics store and purchased an adapter with several connectors and variable DC outputs. Knowing the required input for the camcorder is 11VDC, I adjusted the adapter but it did not charge. After several attempts I gave up. Upon my return, I dug up the adapter that came with the camcorder, but it also did not work. Now I'm at a loss. I believe the warranty has long passed, and am hesitant to take it to Best-Buy, for they are extremely expensive. Any help from you would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

When rewinding a tape, I got this error message. E04 Unit in Safeguard MODE EJECT AND REINSERT TAPE
I would eject and reinsert the tape, but I would get the same message.
Model number is JVC GR-D33U Mini DV
Please advise.

Currently I have JVC GR-D70U.
Although I opened the lens cap, the camcorder constantly gives the lens cap warning in automatic and manual modes. I can record sound only. LCD is black with only the warning.
Please help me troubleshoot this problem.
Thanks Vijay

Hello Stacy, I have a JVC GR-D71U digital video camera. It has been working great until a few months ago I turned it on and it kept telling me my "lens cap is on" I have changed batteries, tapes, gone through the manual a dozen times, changed things then put it all back in the menu. Still it says"lens cap is on" What can I do? Please Help.. Thank-You, Judee
