Stacy, I have JVC TV Model: AV-27920, on my work bench. If the TV has sat for a while, I can plug it into the wall, and without doing anything else, the TV comes on(sound) and I can hear the tube firing up. The TV comes on for about two(2) seconds and then turns off. The red standby LED blinks at a dim slow rate. I need tech info and all suggestions.

    Thanks,
    William Baker

My Gr dvm75u digital camera is giving me a SAFEMODE message. It's starts to play and then cuts off. It says disconnect batter and reconnect, but eventhough it starts off like it is fixed; it goes back to safe mode again. What to do?

I have JVC GR-DVM70 U MiniDV camcorder. It's rarely used in the 4 yr. period I've owned it. I used it the other day to record and on playback the sound was intermittent at first and after several reruns full sound returned. I tried a dry tape head cleaner and now it doesn't have any sound. The picture plays back fine just no sound. What are the possible problems?

I just installed a JVC KD-S5050 CD player in my truck and all it does when I go to turn the key the display says "see ya" and turns off right away. I tried to change all fuses, tried to reset the unit and it still doesn't work. When I hit the display button, it shows the clock for about 10 seconds and then shuts off again. How do I fix this?

    Thank you.

Stacy, I have been reading your pechorin.com replies.

Stacy, I have a JVC AV-27920 27" TV that initially comes on when it is plugged onto an outlet. This TV comes on for about 2-3 seconds before it shuts down. I observe sound and the firing of the flyback, and then the TV goes into its' shut down mode.

No user input is given to the TV-plug the TV into the outlet, it fires on for 2-3 seconds and then shuts down. In this shut down state, the front panel red LED is dim and blinks at slow constant rate.

This TV stays in the shut down mode even if it is unplugged and then plugged right back in. When I unplug the TV and let it sit for a few minutes before plugging it back in, the TV fires on for about 2-3 seconds to shut back down.

I have no clue! As well, I have no tech info. A Sam's would be helpful, along with any input you may give. My mind is open!

    Thank You,
    William

    Hello,
Hopefully, you have run into this problem before and can suggest a quick and economical fix to the problem.
Our 32 J.V.C. I'Art Flat Screen T.V. which is less than 2 years old recently lost its picture. The sound is okay but we don't get any picture.
Can you suggest what is wrong and how to fix it. Also, if you could estimate how much a shop would charge to fix it would be appreciated.
    Thank you.
