Aarons said they wouldn't do anything for us and I believe the tv should of lasted more than 3 yrs, it was made in 2003. model #AV-48WP34 serial # 11881837 june 2003 JVC

I just read your post and I also got my tv (same model) from Aarons and now there are like pink and green lines. I did the convergence but on some of the spots I can not get the blue and pink line down to the green. I have been seeing on all kinds of message boards that this tv is a peice of garbage. Wish I would have known that. I will let you know if I find anything though. Elizabeth Lynnwood,WA

  • Recording is not working sibi jose - 11th Aug 2006 11:49
    Hello,

I am using JVC Digital Video Camera Model No.GR-D30AG ser. No.15860141.

    PROBLEM :

Now its recording not working in both [A] and [M] mode. When I try to record something, its LCD shows some picture-less screen. some unknown vibrations(scratches like screen) are only displaying now. So only those displayed scratches like images are recording.

At the initial stage, similar screen was coming for some moment and then disappear after few seconds. Now real objects are not able to record with this DVD.

Kindly guid me to your CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRE somewhere in Kerala State (INDIA)to get it serviced.

Awaiting your response at the earliest.
    thanking you
    regards

I just bought a JVC camcorder not even a year ago. The model number is GR-AXM17U. I have an E03 in safe mode message on my camcorder. It says to remove and reattach the battery but that does not work. I got your name off of the Pichorin's site. Please let me know if you know anything about this message.

    Hi,
Yesterday i bought a new battery for my camcorder. It is a JVC GR-D33U. Before i put in the new battery the other battery still was charged. I turned the camcorder on, but the screen says flashing "LENS CAP" I dont have the lens cap on, so I dont know what that means, also everything is blurry. It is not in the zoom setting, but it looks like lines are going down the screen, you can not see a picture, not even through the eye hole. Please help because I need this for my daughters birthday soon.

    Hello,

I have a JVC GR-DVL 157E I purchased several years ago. I lost the converter for the battery about 1 or 2 years ago and so I couldn't use the camera at all. Recently, I purchased a new converter, charged up the battery but now when I put the battery back into the camera, nothing happens!

I went to the shop where I bought it, they tried it with another battery, but still nothing.

Is there any way to repair it by myself? Because sending it to JVC for repairs costs way too much!

    Thanks!

    Marc

I have a DVD Video Recorder model # DR-MV1S. It is literally stuck in the "programming" mode and that is all that ever comes up even after it is powered down, uplugged and all buttons are pushed. All I get is "PROGRAMMING".
Any idea what the problem might be?
    Thanks,
    Merv
