I have a JVC GR-D31U and when I try to film something, the screen says the lens cap is on for a few seconds and then I just get a black screen in bothe the LCD screen and the eyepiece.. It plays back stuff that I taped earlier just fine, but I can't record anything now. Any ideas? http://www.pechorin.com/m/2004/01/30/JVC_service_or_questions-208860-62.html

Could you kindly advise where I can find these or how I go about sorting it - if need be maybe I could purchase another cd disc with all the information on??? My camcorder is a model: GR-DX300EK the Serial No. is: 118PO352 Thankyou in anticipation of your early reply and assistance. sincerely yours, Robert Hasker - England

I need to replace the flyback transformer on a JVC T.V. model number AV-N29220, but the part number is not readable on the old transformer. Can you please tell me the part number for a flyback for this model T.V.? Thanks.

I have JVC GR-D72 digital video camera. (mini DV). I am having problems with the camera. I cannot get it to come on or open up so I can take the tape out. There is plenty of power in the battery and and I can plug in the power cord and it does the same thing. The camera powers up and then makes three beeps and nothing happens.

This is regarding my JVC camcorder model GR-DVL520U. The cassette door is stuck open - it refuses to close and I naturally do not apply force. When the unit is turned on - to "Auto" from "Off" - the LCD shows the error E01 "Unit in safeguard mode. Remove and reattach battery." Of course, that does nothing to help solve the problem. Also, with the cassette door still open, if the unit is turned to "Play" from "Off", I can see the spool moving (with no cassette). Please advise.

I have a JVC Gr-D30 Camcorder, my camera was working just fine, but know it has an E03 code (unit in safeguard mode). Is there a way I can fix it myself. The LCD screen is all dark with stretchy lines instead of an image. It also keeps thinking the lenscap is on. My camcorder is no longer under warranty.-Thanks

I have a JVC digital video camera, model GR-D72. For some reason, even though the lens cap is already off, it keeps saying that it is on. I can't see anything on the screen. I could play a used tape though. What seems to be the problem and how can I resolve it? Thanks. Rick
