I have a jvc gr-d30u that when powered up has no display. We can not see images through the view finder either. There is a lans cap notification when first powered up bue we have removed the cap and still get the message. All menu screens seem to work but we cannot use the lcd or viewfinder to record video. Is it broken or are we doing something wrong? Lee

I have a JCV television. Model# AV-56WP74. The red color is to the left of everything. All figures and letters look like double vision. The converge will not merge the red with the other colors and the manual does not work either. I have only had it about 1 1/2 yrs. Thanks for any help.

I have a JVC GR-SXM920U and I can't figure out how to hook it to my computer and use movie maker to edit the tape. I'm not sure my model has that capability. I know you can hook it to the computer for digital pictures but I can't figure out how to do movies. My son has a project due on Monday and we really need this capability. Thanks

Hi, I have read in the forum about len's cap problem of JVC video cam. It seems like a known defect or frequent fault of this camera. I am also getting len's cap problem with my JVC video camera model#GR-D72U. I bought this about 2 years ago but I seldom use it(I have used it only 3x since I got it). Please let me know how to fix it. Thanks...

Same problem as many on the internet. I have a GR-D72U. "Lens cap error", with lens cap off. Screen is dark. Looking thru viewfinder is dark. Records a black image, but sound is recorded. What should I do? Thanks. Bill

I have a GR-D30U. I have recorded less than 5 hours with it. Now I get no picture. The picture looks like a yellowish fuzz. Can you please help?

Hey Stacy, Please help me. I have a JVC MX-KB30 and I've received a "Protect" message on the display everytime I turn it on. The unit is on, but won't play through my speakers. I see someone else on this message board has posted a similar problem with a different model. Any help with this would be appreciated. Sincerely, Andre Mullen

I have the JVC digital video camera model# GR-D72. The LCD monitor is black or grey. It's like the lens cap is still on, but of course it's not. Also I can't see anything through the viewfinder. It will play back just fine but I can't record anything.

I have a JVC model KD-S640 in dash radio/cd player. My car battery went dead the other day and required a jump start. Since then the radio has not worked. Unfortunately I have a 10 hour drive tomorrow. I checked the fuse for the radio and it was fine. I do not have a manual for the JVC as I bought the car used with the radio already installed. Is there a procedure to re boot it? Thank you, Clay Prewitt
