melissa beers - 30th Apr 2007 13:50 My jvc gr-d33u is not working. When recording the LCD screen and the eye piece will not show anything but blank and white lines that jitter. You can not look at what you are recoding.

Hello, I have a JVC GR-D347U. I am trying to upload my videos and still shots from my camera to my computer; however, my computer does not recognize the software. Can you tell me how to fix this problem? Thanks.

i found your offer for help on the pechorin's site. i have a jvc grd90u and i need to find out how to get the video i've taken off the little tape and onto my computer or a vhs tape. i searched and can't seem to find a cord that will go from the svideo on the camera to a standard vcr. what do you suggest? how did jvc intend for owners to transfer their video and/or view it on their tv?
- Re[2]: JVC service or questions
JB38 - 2nd May 2007 15:25 Most VHS tape machines do not have an "S" video input facility, so to transfer video into a tape machine use the lead with a right angled 3.5mm jack plug on one end into the camcorders AV out socket, and then plug the RCA type phono plugs on the other end into the matching colored sockets on front of the tape machine.
Make sure you select the AV input front sockets when setting the VHS machine for recording, or it will be recording from its internal tuner as that is its default setting.

where is the "AV out"? I have a small round connection that says AV, but we use this to connect to a sound system when recording so that you can hear the audio better. (maybe that's wrong) The only other connections i have are svideo, and then 2 inside where the display screen closes - one labeled USB (but it's really small and looks more like firewire - see below for shape) and one labeled DV (rectangular with small inset at bottom).
shape is something like below - geometry's been too long ago so I can't remember what it's called. :)

I have a G-DVL805U. It says it needs cleaning but the new cleaner we bought still does not knock out the problem.
I live in N. Houston. I'd like to bing it to you for cleaning.

Hello I have the JVC Digital vedio camera model #GR-DV120U:My problem is when I cut it on it says its in safe mode but when I take on the tape the safe mode bar is off of the screen,as so as I but the tape back in the safe mode bar pops back up on the screen. Some told me to take of the battery wait a few sec. and replace it but it still pops up.I even went out and bought a new battery and I'm still without my camcorder.
Thank You very much, Mr.Holmes

My camera model GR-D72U . When I attempt to take video the picture is dark with slight light when aimed at a light but no picture can be seen. It says "lens cap" but the lens cap is off. This happened after I had it in my suitcase while flying. It does this in A or M mode. Thanks

John Platt - 3rd May 2007 4:01 I have a JVC GR-SXM250U model camcorder and like many others I am very disappointed in it's reliability. Most recently my camcorder has stopped recording or viewing the visual aspect of video. I can't see anything through the viewfinder, the LCD Screen, and it says to remove the camera lens which is not on it. When I hit the record button it only tapes the audio portion of the subject I am trying to view and record. Is there a reasonable solution to this problem. Please advise.
Thank you,
John
