I have a JVC GR-D30U that I hardly use. Last time I turned it on I could play a tape fine but couldn't record. The camcorder thought the lense cap was still on and kept giving me that error. The lense cap was off. Any idea what causes this error? Thanks Bob

I have a JVC GR-DVM model, specifically, a GR-DVM75U. As I posted in a different section, I am having an issue regarding powering the device, or rather making the device GET power. After leaving it on the charge overnight, I checked it the morning after, and it would not turn on. I removed and reinserted the power cable, and I got a "click click" sound, sounded like an electrical click, like it was powering on and back off again. I removed and reattached the battery. Same thing. I'm a bit curious. How would I go about fixing this poor old thing? It's worked well up to now aside from a minor little fiasco involving tape jams which I already fixed. I'm most likely Not under warranty, given how long this thing has been in my hands, and I am in the 78705 area. Please help as best you can. I am assuming, just a hunch, that this is a battery issue, as it has all the right earmarks, but I'd rather not blow 60 bucks on a hunch. If you could help I would greatly appreciate it.

JVC AV - 27820 CRT when the rear RCA video jack is wiggled, the video on the screen compresses down into a line; you can still see movement in this 3mm line. now the tv no longer shows any video, the power light just blinks. any help is greatly appreciated!

I have a JVC television (model AV32FA44, 32" tube from the i'Art line, less than two years old) that has: *recently been shutting itself off (sometime after being on for a few minutes, other times for a few hours), *the power/standby (green) LED flashes *the only way to "solve" this problem is to unplug it and plug it back in *today, there is no video, just audio (the TV did make a sharp snapping sound when I first turned it on). I have a JVC GR-DF450US mini DV camera that is having some issues. It will only record sound, no video. It will playback previously recorded video fine but will not record anything new. We have a JVC I'art Pro big screen that we bought from a friend, with no manual to go with it. We are experiencing blue and yellow and shadow picture on the left side of the screen and don't know how to correct it with the remote. We were going through the remote control options and got to the convergence screen and it showed some of the rectangular blocks being off, but we can't figure out how to correct the problem.
