Marissa Mohammed - 23rd Apr 2007 0:21 Hello, my JVC GR-DX25EK camcorder has a black screen when it is turned on and it says "lens cap" even tough the lens cap is off. If i put on the lens cap and then take it off the message comes off but the screen is still black and i cannot record any thing.

Marissa Mohammed - 23rd Apr 2007 0:23 Hello, when i turn on my JVC GR-DX25EK the screen is black and it shows a message "lens cap" even though the lens cap is off. If i put the lens cap on then take it off the message comes off, but the screen is still black and you cannot see through the eye part. That is black as well.

I have a JVC GR-D27OU and it stop playing video. All i see is a blue screen. When it first started giving me problems the picture would freeze up then some of the video would start playing again. Now All I get is a blue screen when I hit play and I know the videos I use are full.

JB38 - 25th Apr 2007 16:09 Its possible (although not for certain!) that the video head requires cleaning, full info on how to do this sent via direct e-mail. (JPEG also attached for reference purposes)

Hi, I love my camcorder but we can't seem to download our video to our computer. There have been several people try to do this for us, we need to know if there is something we are missing or we need to get in order to accomplish this. Thank you, Paula
- Re[2]: JVC service or questions
JB38 - 26th Apr 2007 15:58 Paula! It would be of considerable help in possibly giving assistance if you mentioned what Brand / model of camcorder you actually have.
