Full info on problem sent to both above postings via DIRECT e-mail, this giving details of the qualified free repair being offered on this particular manufacturing fault, that is provided the owner is the original purchaser and can produce proof of the fact.

I have the JVC GR-D244U (big mistake from what I have read) and it's in safe mode. It says remove the battery or tape and replace. This does absolutely NOTHING. Whats next?

I have a jvc digital video camera model no. gr-dvl805u. It keeps tell me that the unit is in safeguard mode. It said to disconnect and reatach the battery. I did that and the same thing keeps happening. if you can get me out of this jam that would be great. If not, my next digital recorder will not be a jvc.

I own a JVC HD-ILA TV. Last night the screen went blank with the blue power light and red lamp light on the front flashing. Re-cycling power initially seems to cure the issue however a couple of seconds into the power-up cycle the lights begin to flash again with no picture

Full details on this can ONLY be sent to a DIRECT e-mail address for technical reasons. Click on my link (RED) and enter it in the box provided, this only being used for return purposes and also only being seen by myself.

I have a JVC GR-DX77U which won't let me record - it seems to always think that the lens cap is on and shows no picture in any mode, despite everything else working. Any suggestions? Please help as we have a baby on the way and are desperate to record the first few months! Thanks

I have a JVC MX-GA77. When I turn it on, the display says 'PROTECT', afterwards the time display shows up and nothing works at all. Is there any solution to it? Thanks for your help.

Whats seen is only an indication that a problem has been detected, however there is nothing you can really do externally as there are so many different things that can be responsible for this warning, these ranging from a fault in the CD unit to a defect in the amplifier / power supply, the latter being the prime suspect area!
