I have the GR-DVL40E JVC video camera and i want to connect it into my pC. My problem is that there isn't any fire wire(IEEE-1394) port on my PC.My Pc has USB2.0,serial DB-9 and DB-25 parallel port. My camera has A jlip plug, a dv out plug for FireWire cable.Is there any adaptor for these connections?Is there any driver program necessary for me?Can you help me with my problem?

The problem in C926. This is a really easy fix get a 1000uf electrolytic 35V cap radial leads from RS. Take the housing off of the TV and lay it on it's front. Then tape up a needle nose pliers with electrical tape. have one of your friends grab the cap from the front and heat up the soder pads from the bottom. replace the cap with the new one. Be sure to follow convention this cap does have polarity so you need to put it back the same way the old one came out. Re flow solder onto the pads and the cap legs. That's all.

Dear Stacy Sample: I am having the same problem with my JVC GR-D30U. It gives me a message that the lens cap is on and there is no picture. I live in Missouri, but am visiting Alaska for a month. I have a JVC GR-DVF31U which the on screen LCD display showing "REC" or any other display is gone. The sreen shows what you are filming and will show what has been filmed. Just the LCD for all of the functions is gone. I have contacted JVC and followed the steps they recomended which have not helped. The camera works and will film it is very difficult to tell when you are recording or paused. Thanks, Bob

i have a jvc av32750 when in auto tuner setup mode, the arrow on the inside of the small tv does not come on when in the tuning mode. the antenna is pluged in and in the air mode. the tv never locks on a tv station. any ideas? i can not locate a service manual.
