I have a JVC GR-SXM330U Camcorder, my camera was working just fine, but know it has an E03 code (unit in safeguard mode). Is there a way I can fix it myself. My camcorder is no longer under warranty.-Thanks

I can no longer record on my Cam coder nor play recorded DV cassettes. IT reads E03 UNIT IN SAFEGUARD MODE EJECT AND RE-INSERT TAPE. After re-inserting the tape it goes back to the error mode as above. I have had to remove the camera battery for over 2 hrs and after restarting the Camcoder it still reads the same error massage. Please advice me on what to do. Enjoyed your product. Egbuna

I have a JVC dvx 48 digital video camera. I am a novice on computers, I have a computer to burn dvd's but cant understand how to get up and running. I have got the software downloaded, that come with the camera. I use windows XP and a friend said there would probably be some other software handy but I am stuck. What do I need to do next( this has been a timeconsuming process up to this point but would appreciate a point in the right direction, thanks Rick.

My JVC-JY-HD10U is exhibiting the EO3 error whenever I insert a tape. The unit first displayed this erro when video taping outside in humid/hot conditions after about an hour of shooting.

    Loading error Dr-MV1s

     Springer Posted Jun 01, 2005

Recently, I purchased a DR-MV1S. Boy was that a mistake, or so it seems. After about 20 minutes of recording a movie onto a DVD-Ram, I get a loading error. Now, I can't get my disc out. Was told to send this defective unit to a service center in Atlanta, GA, at my expense, of course. Not sure why I have to pay for what is clearly, given the amount of discussion on this very error all over the internet, a "known-to-JVC" problem. Anyways, my question is what can I do do get my disc out of the DVD before sending it in for service. Oh... surely I won't have to pay for return shipping, will I???

I have a JVC AV-27980 which will not turn on. A friend who works on TV's is certain it is in the standby but can not do anything without a schematic. Do you have or know where we get get a copy of the schematics for this model. It was one of those special runs by JVC and they don't seem to have schematics available for that model.
