I have the JVC "El Kameleon" model KD-LX111. Everything works great, except when I try to eject a CD, the face plate moves down, and nothing happens. Then, after awhile, I get the message "error code 32" Any ideas as to what that might mean, what I can do about it, or where I can get it fixed? Thanks a lot

Unknown - 22nd Nov 2004 6:40 You may need operational assistance direct from JVC. Call (800) 537-5722 and see if they can direct you thru the procedure to get that off your screen.

Lara - 9th Aug 2005 19:08 It may be as simple as having the the Closed Caption Text Mode on. Troubleshooting says you can press the Closed Caption button until you select "off."

I am working on a JVC AV27920 With a vertical deflection problem. It has flat line across the center of the screen and would originally shut down immediately. I found a shorted diode, a bad deflection IC, and several bad lytic capacitors but still don not have full screen height. If you can help it would be appreciated. I would like to purchase a Service manual for this set aswell. Thanks Jon

David Werner - 21st Nov 2004 1:07 My 3 year old 32" JVC TV (model #AV32D302) suddelyl developed color problems. The top 1/3rd of the screen has a violet hue, the center a yellow hue and the bottom 1/3rd a blue hue. There seems to be a kind of pulsing of the colors as well. It happens on all channels and also when replaying a TIVO recording. Could it be something simple like a color separating element or is it likely a picture tube gone bad. If it is the tube, what is the approximate cost of replacement? I found this site at www.pechorin.com/m/2004/01/30/JVC_service_or_questions-208860-2.html - 17k

Frank - 21st Nov 2004 14:20 Hi, I have the GR-D90U camcorder and it shows me constantly the lens cap warning. I have noticed it yesterday. Are there any solutions of this problem. I treid with removing the battery and connecting it again. After several on and offs of the camcorder the picture got back for a while, however it dissapeared again and it did not get back. So , basically camcorder behaves as if lens cap was still on, however other functions are working (it takes picture and saves it on card in DSC mode, but the picture is completely black. Please , any solutions?

Unknown - 22nd Nov 2004 6:37 Call (800) 252-5722 to find your closest Factory Service Facility if you still have factory warranty. If you have extended warranty, call them first. Either way...you probably need it looked at. You can also go to JVC.com under service and support. Just follow instructions.

JVC GR-DVM70U Dig MiniDV camcorder I have had this about 4 years. While recording, I am getting major horizontal light lines at various intervals. It happens so much that it is impossible to edit out all the bad recording. Should I have it repaired? or replace it? Where do I go for repair?
- Re: Re: JVC service or questions
Unknown - 22nd Nov 2004 6:34 Honestly...look into buying a new one. Go to BuyDig.com and check out their products. The prices are better than I have seen anywhere. You can also buy a 4 year extended warranty for $59.00. Cam prices go lower and lower every year...it may be a good idea to check them out first before you decide on repair.

Does the cooling fan on the back of a home theater stereo run all the time? Mine does not and it gets really hot and the dvd player messes up.
