Assistance with JVC product
If anyone has a question regarding a problem with thier JVC product (error codes, safeguard mode etc) write me for troubleshooting assistance. Please provide your model # if available and note this site so I can assist you better.

Jason - 16th Nov 2004 17:11 Model # KD-SX980. Not sure how to describe the problem. Unit turns itself off and back on again as if someone were hitting the power button. Does this at random intervals. Sometimes its constant (on-off-on-off) and sometimes it'll play without incident for several minutes. Very very annoying. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I purchased a JVC AV27D210 in 2000. It went into storage after about 3 months use and now want to use it. The remote and instructions were lost in the shuffle. It comes on and has a good picture BUT there is a huge black box on the screen that covers the entire screen except for about an inch around the edge. I read on the internet to unplug it for over 4 hours and then plug it back in that would hard boot it and take it back to the factory settings. That didn't work. I also read how to get into the service mode but the universal remote that I bought to replace the original won't let me do it. Got any suggestions...can I purchase another factory-type remote which might help? And I am having trouble finding the procedure to get into the service mode and what to do once I get in there...HELP!!!!! Thanks

Unknown - 22nd Nov 2004 6:52 You can go on JVC.com and buy the correct remote. Go to Accessory Store and put the TV model # in. You need to get this remote to be able to do all the functions the TV has to offer. A Universal Remote will only give you minimal functions. You may be able to get the user manual with the remote purchase or possibly download it for free if the TV is not too old. On JVC.com go to Service and Support > User manuals and follow the instructions.

Getting the e-01 error code says it's in safeguard mode i took the battery off for a week still doesn't work help please

Hi
I have JVC TC 27 " , TV is working fine, but I think one of channels has been locked ( child lock). I donot have the operating manual and I donot know how to remove the child lock.
The video is played normal, but a big black patch is coming on to the screen which I guess means the channel has a child lock.
Please help me as to how can I remove this child lock now, also please let me know if I can download operating manual from any internet site.

my stereo went just says protect on the screen and it wont let me play any cds.

Kristina Whiteman - 17th Nov 2004 19:22 I have a JVC GR SXM330 Video recorder. It was working fine for up to 6 hours a day, but recently it has started to shut down while it's taping. It will sometimes tape for as long as 50 minutes, but sometimes it will shut down after thirty seconds. The screen reads "EO3 Unit in Safeguard Mode". It then flashes to "EO3 Remove and reattach battery". I have tried taking the battery out and putting it back in, but the same message keeps flashing. The camera will not turn off while this message is up unless I unplug it. It looks like lots of other people have had this problem--how do I fix it?

My GR-AXM225 camcorder is in safeguard mode and won't let me eject the tape that's in there. I'm wanting to use it for a party this weekend but can't afford to take it to a shop (currently unemployed). Is there a "quick fix" to get me by? I read on a blog about a guy using rubbing alchol to clean off something inside, but that assumes getting the tape ejected. Please reply as soon as possible; thanks!

i have a jvc tv modle # av-32d501 and when i press the power button will try to come on and the relay will click but nothing happens i checked the h out and the regultar and every looks good no shorts in the ps can you help me please
