I have a JVC tv model av 27730. When I turn my television on everything is fine, about one minute later the picture goes completely black and a thin bright vertical line appears through the screen. I have no picture at all, but I do have sound. Can you assist me with this problem?

Sounds like a capactor is bad in the vertical output circuit
- Re[3]: JVC service or questions
Tim Johnson - 17th Dec 2005 3:25 Is the compactor the same as the filter caps on the Vert Output? If so, where is this part located, inside the TV, and where can this part be purchased?
Thanks!
