my screen will not come on it stays black

I own a JVC model #DR-MV5SU and have lost the manual. It had a short cut smaller book with it, that told how to record, dub, etc in easy steps. Is there anyway I could get another manual. It really isn't easy to use without the book. Thanks for your help. Also found this email on pechorins

Hi, My on timer light is blinking on the I'Art JVC 32" tv and it turns itself off and cannot be restarted before days, can this be fixed and how much could it cost, is there any technician left who know how to fix this problem, it's driving me nut...and I don't want to buy a flat screen now. Hi, I have a JVC rear projection hd-56zr7j and lately it has started to turn off by itself and when this happens the standby icon on the tv just flahes (the standby icon is red and blue)..we then have to wait about a minute to press on on the remote for it to turn on and then it just goes again...please can u help me and tell me why this might be happening? thanks

I have JVC model HD-56G886 and it keeps shutting off, runs for ten minutes or so and shuts off again. the blue light flashes when it shuts off.

Good Afternoon, I own a JVC AV-36D800 (Oct 1999) it has worked GREAT no issues till today. I just recenlty moved from FL to VA and I assumed the TV worke great becasue all of the other tvs to work pretty good. Well I put the TV on an 850lbs Gun safe and my colors are really messed up. Is it because of the Steel safe?? The piture looks like someone is holding a maganet to both sides of the TV. the Blue and Greens are way off The TV could have been damaged in the move i guess, this will be the onl only thing that got damaged.... What are your thoughts, Thanks Todd

I have JVC car tape Model KD-G416 it is not powering. It need code to start again. As battery was disconnected for 2 weeks due to the smash repair. Guys who did the smash repair saying that they have not touch at all. I have no clue either. even do not have user manual or service manual. If you can help me much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I want to know how to turn the password on my television off, because we cannot find the remote to unlock it. Or how can I reset it? I have a D-series JVC television, however, I don't exactly remember when it was purchased.
