I HAVE A 2002 NISSIAN MAXAMA WITH FACTORY AUDIO SYSTEM. IT WANT LET ME PLAY A CD IT JUST KEEPS GIVING ME A CD ERROR F3 AND FO AND THEN SPITS OUT THE CD IT WON'T PLAY OR ANYTHING. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN THANKS.

  Hi,
  Sorry to hear of your problem. I just today experienced the same problem.
  I pushed the eject button and after that received the error message. I'm phoning Nissan to-morrow to see what the problem is. I'll let you know what I find out.
  Incidently, the manual says not to play CD-R, CD-RW otherwise they might damage the cd player. If you find out the problem before I do please let me know.

    I'm having the same problem. I have a 2003 Nissan Maxima with a Bose Stereo system. When I load a CD, it gives me the "F3 error message" and will not play. Of course it's out of warranty. If you find out what caused it, please let me know. Thanks

  Hi all,
  Same problem with a Bose system in 2003 Infinty. Has anyone discovered the reason, cause, and/or fix?
