Assistance for Error Codes

If anyone is having any kind of Error code, clean head icon or any other concern, contact me first before assuming you have a problem. My e-mail is Ssample@jvc.com. I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available. Please refer to this site if you contact me. Thank you. Stacy Sample Service Coordinator Houston, Texas

Mr. Sample my question is exactly the same as a March 2007 post on this site. I have a Sony Beta Cam BVW-22 and all I get is the "0A" error code. I would be most grateful if you can tell me what that means and what I have to do to correct it. Thank you, Matt

Ha Ha I read this and I thought "What BS" but tried it anyway as I had little to lose. 2 firm bangs against the palm of my hand and the camera is as good as new again. Thanks heaps.

I have a sony trv52. The camera will work fine for a minute of two then the icon pops up in the middole of the screen (it looks like an eject disk icon) in the manual it says to take it ot the manufactur repair center when this icon pops up. Any ideas for a quick fix? perhaps cleaning the head? thanks

We have a Sony PVW 2850. I just extracted a tape after getting an error message "02-403". When I took the cover off, I noticed the tape was almost completely threaded with no damage. I spun the thread motor gear backwards to get the tape free and then took the carriage out and fished the tape back into the cassette apparently undamaged. When I put the carriage back in, I still got the error message 02-403. It is present when first powered up and doesn't go away. I called Sony support and was told it referred to the reel table. We have never had a problem with this machine in the past and it gets few hours because it is only used to import an occasional Beta tape to our editing systems. Any help would be appreciated.
