Re: JVC service or questions

The usual - lens cap error on JVC gr-df430u, they want $150 to repair the ccd. We want to know where to get the new part and we are willing to fix it ourselves. Thanks for any help!

    Hi Tony, No resolution yet. We are NOT included in the lawsuit, I can clear that up for you. I still think it's a good idea to register at the lawyers' site anyway to set precedence if/when they DO have a lawsuit specifically for us. Main thing I'm trying to find out now is if anyone has had the CCD repaired at a dedicated service center and if the repair held up in the long run or if the darned thing just breaks again. Anyone know?
