JVC service or questions

Assistance with JVC product

If anyone has a question regarding a problem with thier JVC product (error codes, safeguard mode etc) write me for troubleshooting assistance. Please provide your model # if available and note this site so I can assist you better.

  The usual - lens cap error on JVC gr-df430u, they want $150 to repair the ccd. We want to know where to get the new part and we are willing to fix it ourselves. Thanks for any help!

      Hi Tony, No resolution yet. We are NOT included in the lawsuit, I can clear that up for you. I still think it's a good idea to register at the lawyers' site anyway to set precedence if/when they DO have a lawsuit specifically for us. Main thing I'm trying to find out now is if anyone has had the CCD repaired at a dedicated service center and if the repair held up in the long run or if the darned thing just breaks again.   hello
  i have a problem with video camera it says remove lense cap but have remove still no picture have disconected the battery for over five mins still not working will play tape and can be seen on lcd screen.
  cant work it out,has not been droped ser-no 118y0870

  I own a JVC AV-27950 i was watching it then the picture rolled with horazontal lines for about a second then tv went dead. when i checked the fuse it looked fine. but turning it on led lites, clicks, dead. nothing. do you think changing the C926 will fix this? it looks fine no bulge on top of the capacitor. but reading prior threads leads me to believe its worth a try. i can not afford a new tv or getting it fixed by a tech. but i did build my own PC so do you think it's worth a shot? ( Changing the fuse and C926). hurry please , watching an old 19in. Thanx!!

  I have a JVC AV27920 TV and an LG LRY-517 DVD/VHS recorder. I run the cable from the wall to the DVD. I then connect the DVD to the TV with the Yellow/Red/White cables and nothing works. LG customer service said I need to switch the video input mode on the TV to DVD, but the only options I see in the menu are AIR or CABLE. If I connect the DVD to the TV with the DVD RF OUT to TV CABLE IN connection it works. How do I change the video input mode so it will accept the DVD signal through the Yellow cable?

  I became the proud owner of a JVC Dr-MV5S digital VHS/DVD recorder about 1 month ago. I have always like the JVC brand of products and will continue to feel the same way.
  
  A couple days ago the MV5S started acting up. I can no longer get a video signal when recording in the DVD mode. When I press the VHS/DVD button to toggle between tape or DVD, I do get a video when in the tape mode. But, when I press the button to toggle over to DVD I get audio but no video.
  
  I have taken the cable box out of the system and run the antenna directly to the MV5S. I still get the same problem...no video when recording in DVD.
  
  When I press the navigation button in DVD, I do see what is already recorded on the DVD and can play and see the video. But, when I go back to broadcast, I only get audio.
  
  I hate to give up on the item. I have read the manual a couple times to see if I need to make any corrections. I unpluged the unit and then plugged in back in. After "loading" I got the same problem.
  
  What do you advise.

  hi i have a JVC GR-AX48E VHS-C Model camcorder. i have a problem with it. When i connect the battery after a while the motor starts to rotate itself and doesn't stop unless i take out the battery.Also none of the switch functions.
  Please help me out.

  I have the E03 Error where it says "Unit in safeguard mode, eject and reinsert tape". How do I fix this error? The manual says to follow the instructions given on the video camera, but it doesen't work. Do you have any other way of solving it?

  I have a JCV television. Model# AV-56WP74. The red color is to the left of everything. All figures and letters look like double vision. The converge will not merge the red with the other colors and the manual does not work either. I have only had it about 1 1/2 yrs.Thanks for any help.

    I also have a 56" WP74 TV. It seems to have the same problem! Please, I'd like to know if you were able to fix yours and if you found out what exactly the was problem. Thanks since now for any information...

  AV-27020 HAS RED LED BLINKING IN FRONT / SLEEP TIMER ? IT JUST STARTED DOING THIS
  MAYBE IT WAS PUT IN IN THIS MODE BY ACCIDENT ? HOW DO YOU RESET THIS
  I UNPLUGED IT AND IT STARTS TO COME ON AND 5 SECONDS LATER IT GOES BACK INT A SLEEP TIMER OR OMTHING MODE
