Error Codes Assistance

Assistance for Error Codes

If anyone is having any kind of Error code, clean head icon or any other concern, contact me first before assuming you have a problem. My e-mail is Ssample@jvc.com.

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

Please refer to this site if you contact me. Thank you.

I have a Panasonic CD Stereo system SC-EN7, purchased January 2007. It will not read a disc. The screen says "no disc". I purchased a cleaning disc but that wont work either. Do you think this will be an expensive repair? I could buy a new system if the repair is going to cost too much.

I have a sharp VL-Z3 and the intermittend dew signal makes the camera dysfunctional. I read an article about soldering the joints but this seems a bit tricky. Just tried removing the small battery and this seems to have fixed it but I'm wondering for how long ie I only use the camera about every 4 months and usually for an important occasion. Also I sent the camera back to the place of purchase a few years ago because when the tape gets near the end ie about 1/8 of an inch or so, it stops recording sound. They returned it saying there was nothing wrong with the unit and even though it did the same thing, I found dealing with them too demanding. Any ideas?

I had the same problem with the DEW code flashing on the screen. I finally got some Drierite dessicant (anhydrous calcium sulfate). Essentially this is little blue pebbles that absorb moisture. I filled the bottom of a container with the Drierite, then opened all the compartments on the video camera (LCD screen, took out battery, opened where the video tape goes and took out tape, left compartment open). Then I placed the camera in the container with the drierite and sealed the top of the container with plastic wrap. I left the camera in there for two to three days. When I took it back out the DEW code was gone and the camera functioned again. I had been getting the DEW code for months and my camera would not work at all. Good Luck, Sean

I own sharp digital camcorder model VL-23, already sent an e-mail, but I think it was lost and therefore will repeat it again. I have a dew message, went to a site that recommended resoldering or removing the small battery. I removed the small battery and had to reset my camera date but the dew message is now gone, for how long I do not know and they said this fix was probably temporary. The soldering seems touchy any other ideas?? Also, I had returned the camera a few months after purchase because near the end of a tape ie about 1/8 of an inch or so, the camera sound stopped recording. They sent it back and said they could find nothing wrong with it. It's doing the same thing and I’ve tried different tapes. I didn't bother returning it as it seemed to be a waste of time and money. Any ideas?? Thanks.

we have a danka infotec 9320 which displays the service code E5 when switched on. I cant seem to find out what this code means apart from 'call an engineer' and the photocopier is old so is not really worth an engineer callout. can you help?
