Error Codes Assistance

Assistance for Error Codes

If anyone is having any kind of Error code, clean head icon or any other concern, contact me first before assuming you have a problem. My e-mail is Ssample@jvc.com.

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

  My receiver (model #STR-DE675) flashes "PROTECT" on the LED display, then it freezes and wont allow any functions till I turn it off and on.

    I received this error code when the speaker wires had come loose. I reconnected them and the problem was fixed.

  I got E:61:10 flashing on my Sony DCR-TRV 17.

  I have an error code 20-911 on a Sony UVW 1200 Betacam deck...any ideas? The tape in the deck won't play, rewind, fast forward or eject, either. Thanks!

    Just take off the top of the deck, unscrew additional screws if necessary, then take the tape out. Try not to break anything. I did it. Everything is back to normal. It's just a tape jam error.

  I have a plasma sony model PFM-500Wu1a and is displaying a code 12 22 with no display/video and the power button blinks 7 times.Any help or tip willbe appreciated.

      I have a Sony plasma too and am receiving the same error code 12 22. Has anyone discovered what this error code means yet? And if needed to be serviced how much did it cost? Thanks

  I have a problem with my VCR Sony model SLV-478.The trouble begins when I want to play a tape recorded in EP speed. When I try to do so, no image and sound is detected.Istead of that a black and white image with a noise is displayed.Tapes recorded in SP mode looks OK.Additionally the VCR´s display show the following code:4 11 05.Could be the S reel the origin of the problem?Please if you can give me any help or idea...

  I have a Sony PVW-2800 BetaCam Deck and am getting a combination of 2 error codes. They are Error 13
