I saw your post onpechorin.com I own a JVC TV model AV-27D501. None of the three inputs seems to be able to receive a signal. All three inputs show a blue screen. Component input 2 is enabled, and when activated by DVD has a 1 second burp of sound, then continued blue screen with no sound. All my input equipment and cables check ok:the two tuners function normally. When I entered the service menu, the sound section was showing code 00000011. I have made no changes in the service menu as I am not qualified. Does this code mean anything? Do I need an expensive repair?
Thanks, Ramon

Hi, Sundra:
It seems I got the same problem you had. Have you find out where you can find CCD part, and how much?
Thank you for the help

My GR-DVF 31 camcorder will not function. When I start it the screen flashes the date and time with dashes instead of numbers. It will not turn off except by removing the power cord. How cna I fix this? Olaf

Hello, I have a JVC DVL220U (similar to the 320 and 520. I have the error message "Unit in Safeguard Mode" come up every time a tape is inserted. Can I turn off the safeguard mode by myself, or do I have to have a professional do it? Thanks for your time. -Roger Neeb

I have an AV-36980 36" JVC TV with the same problem as vince describes for his AV-32980. It is about 7 years old and I come home one day and it's dead. I also have checked the incoming power fuse which is OK. Bad thing to happen right before the Superbowl! Any help is greatly appreciated. I am located in Austin, Texas area with zip code 78628. Thanx
