I own a JVC AV-36D503 model TV that is 2.5 years old. Went to turn it on and nothing. It's dead. Any suggestions? I would like to know if you can send me a schematic so I can do a little troubleshooting. I have VOM meters, Fluke scope meter, etc to troubleshoot with and am electrical/electronicly skilled to perform minor troubleshooting. If it gets too deep I will have to bring it to a tv repair specialist.

I have a 27" JVC model # AV-27D302 which is about 3 and a half years old. It has recently developed a distortion all the way across the top of the screen about 2-3 inches down. I have read about similar problems and was wondering if this is worth fixing or if anyone has had this repaired and knows the cost ?

I have a JVC big screen, model AV-48WP74. When I turn it on whatever channel or input (dvd, vcr) i have on goes to a grey/silver screen after a few seconds. If i go to picture swap where it shows two screens at a time it is ok, and will stay like that, but when i go back to a single channel viewed on the entire screen it does that again. After around 15 minutes it doesn't do it anymore. I was thinking it had to do with warming up, but why would it all of a sudden take forever to warm up. Also, if i shut it off and back on again it does the same thing. I was messing with the remote before this problem started occurring, is there something i need to reset in the Menu? Can you help, please!

We have an older JVC TV AV-27720.

Recently it started showing a black box, covering the picture, when watching a VHS or DVD. Seems like, that one of the kids has been playing with the menu options and has set a lock.

I do not have the original remote and am operating the TV with the menu button on the front panel.

Do you know how I can get rid of this problem?

    Thanks

Not sure what I am doing. I need some advice. Is this where I ask for it?

I have a JVC gr ax750 300x Digital Zoom, 5 head system compact vhs. About 5 yrs old. Always worked great. I was told I needed to replace battery, had to purchase a multi camcorder one. I use it a short time and have to recharge the battery. If I use the ac adapter I can run the camcorder all day. Is there a reason why it will not hold a charge? I know there is a round nickle to a quarter size type of a battery in it also, is that the problem? If you cannot answer perhaps you can advise where I can get a manual for further infomation on trouble shooting. I cannot fing mine and Sears is of no help on anything.
    Thanks

Hello, I have a 35" JVC tv model number AV-35BP4 that has a thin horizontal line with picture and sound running through the middle of the screen, the rest of the screen is totally black. I had this same problem fixed in April of 2003. For the tv to only last 2 years before the same thing happen, I would think that there is something else wrong. Thanks in advance for any technical support.

Hello once again, I have a JVC video camera model number GR-M3U that will not focus. When I turn the camera on, it's like someone is playing with the far and near focus really fast. The picture will go from clear to fuzzy really fast and it won't stop. This is the only problem I've ever had with my camera. Thanks in advance for any advice.
