Assistance with JVC product

If anyone has a question regarding a problem with thier JVC product (error codes, safeguard mode etc) write me for troubleshooting assistance. Please provide your model # if available and note this site so I can assist you better.

    I have a relatively new JVC television that has developed a problem that I can't seem to fix. The black background box that is used as contrast for the different on screen adjustments and settings is now on the screen full time but it's just the black background. I can turn the black contrast background off by changing the setting to clear, but as soon as the setting times out the blank opaque black rectangle re apppears on the screen. It will go off briefly but this seems to be getting less frequent. Help, it's ruining the Olympics.

    I bought a JVC Camcorder (model# GR-SXM260U) on Feb. 2004. The last time I used it was about two months ago. Today when I tried to record, a message
    comes out on the screen... EO3 unit on safegaurd mode remove battery and than to reattach battery back again, I do that but still does not work. What can I do to fix this problem?

    WE HAVE A JVC 32 INCH TV, ABOUT 6 YRS OLD. IT COMES ON AT 9:00 EVERY EVENING. ALSO IT WILL SWITCH CHANNELS IF YOU ARE WATCHING IT. TO THE SAME CHANNEL EVERY NIGHT. WE HAVE WENT THROUGH ALL THE PROGRAMS AND NOTHING SEEM TO BE SET. WE UNPLUGGED ALL THE VCR AND DVD PLAYERS AND IT IS JUST PLUGGED TO CABLE, AND IT STILL DOES THE SAME THING... HELP

    I have a 27" JVC (AV-27320) and the picture has become extremely dark no matter how high i turn the bright up. Any suggestions, or is this just going to cost an arm and a leg to get fixed? Also, IF i have to take it somewhere... any suggestions for NC?

      I want to know how to set the clock on my vehicle cd player-it came in it and i dont have a book on It. it has a removeable faceplate and the number on the front says KD-S680. I have tried every button and every button together,if you can tell me how to do it thank-you.

    Hi I have a JVC GR-D30U and when I turn it on its like its rewinding really fast and then it says
    "UNIT IN SAFEGUARD MODE" "REMOVE AND REATTACH BATERY"
    And above that it says EO6
    The Ser# 118T8678

    My JVC GR-DX77U is zooming in automatically and won't adjust so zooming can be done manually.

    I have a JVC GR-AXM230 camcorder and it's about 3yrs old but hardly used. I just replaced the battery with a Radio Shack Cat. # 23-381 6v 1600mah battery. I allowed it to charge and the camera was working fine. Now it eats the tapes even if I'm using the power cord without the battery. But before replacing the battery the unit was working fine except for the original slim battery was charging up but then stop working within 5 minutes. Have you ever heard of these problems and if so are there any fixes.

    hi...i have a JVC gr-d250u and when i try and use it ....it says "UNIT IN SAFEGUARD MODE" please reinsert tape.....i do and it still says same thing....

    i have no manual and would like to use my camera....why is it doing this?

    i have one JVC GR-FXM16EG and it plays for 20 min, when it is cold and after i work with it the work time gets smaller. and it shows me this error: REMOVE AND REATTACH BATTERY and after UNIT IN SAFEGUARD MODE. How can i fix this problem. I need my camera all the time and i need an answer soon. thank u and i waith your answer.
