I have an older JVC AV-31BP5 31" tv. Is there a service menu on this model? If so, how can I access it and what are the recommended (or aftermarket improved) settings?

    Dear Stacy,

We have a JVC GR-DX77U has worked fine for a year, suddenly has a new tape being put in it -just going in with tape door closed - when the camera gave us a E01 Error "unit in safeguard mode, remove attached battery" warning.

Smack it on the side? Is there anyway to use a pin or tool to get the tape out and reset?

    Thanks!

My SONY JVC sku 4468533 tells me that I need to have it cleaned. My problem is my warranty ran out last month March 2006. What can I do now. Best buy was going to charge me an outrageous price to get it cleaned. I never received anything in the mail stating that my warranty was running out. Is their anything I can do?

    Hi Stacy,
    I was wondering if
    Apex
Coby or Cyberhome were made by JVC?

I have a JVC GR-D270US camcorder. I was recently using it and all of sudden (in the middle of operation) got a E01 saying "Unit if safeguard mode, remove and reattach battery." Well doing this did not solve any problems. I was wondering if you could help me this?

    Thanks, Eric

Having issues with JVC-27750. Came back into the room TV has powered down and timer light flashing. Is this unit in a diagnostic or shall it need servicing? Tried resetting by disconnecting main power for twelve hours to no avail. This is an older model manufactured in 1997. I can't seem to find any documentation on it.

I am receiving the error message, mainly because I drop the camera and the tape slot will not go all the way in correctly anymore. I was wondering what is stopping the tape slot from all the way in? This information would be very helpful. Thanks for reading and have a blessed day.
