Hi, I have a JVC GR-D30US camcorder that is now giving me a "Lens Cap" error. I turn it on and it acts like the lens cap is still on, but it isn't. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.

JVC av27820 wont power on
JVC av27820 is dead. when you power it on, it just make a tweet....tweet sound. I checked the HOT (d1878) it was shorted and i replaced with a new one. When i power the tv on, it seems ok for a few seconds and then the screen disappeared and it was the tweet...tweet sound again. any ideas what else to check and replaced ? I couldn't find the fusible resistor in the board, can anyone help me identify those....thanks.

My GR-D9ou has been giving me greif for the last year over the Operation paused due to Condensation. The only thing I can use on it is the Digital Picture thing. I have never been able to take a video yet. Please tell me what to do or Disable so I can use my camera. I paid way to much to not be able to use it.
Thanks

I have a GZ-MC200 and put in a Compact Flash card was able to record some video but when I put the card in the cp card adapter it would not mount on my computer. I than tried to download the files using the usb cable but only the folder shows up on the computer but no files are in the folder. I than put the CF card back into the camcorder and a message came up that the video management file is broken yes to fix. it will not get out of this mode even if I turn the unit off. The only to stop the recovery is to remove the battery. WHAT IS WORNG?

Germain Del Toro - 16th Jun 2006 13:51 I have aquired a JVC dual deck audio cassette recorder TD-W209. Do you have access to a copy of the owners manual or know where I can download it. I could not pull it up from the JVC website. It says 'not found'. Is there an historic file somewhere I can get access to? Thanks in advance.

I have a JVC MX-KB30 Stereo. It worked without problem for a few months after I bought it, then quit coming on and staying on. If you power it up, it says 'hello' , stays on for a few seconds, then says 'goodbye' and shuts back off. Everything seems to be okay, and it seems to come on fine, it just won't stay on more than a couple of seconds. Twice we have had the experience of being able to get it back up and running fine, but on both occasions, it started doing this same thing again within 24 hours. When we can manage to get it on and keep it on, it runs quite well, no problems. We just can't get it to come on and stay on.
Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

Larry - 22nd Jun 2006 21:08 I have the same model, and had the same problem. To their credit, JVC has promised to repair faulty CCDs in these models until Oct 2007. Send it prepaid properly padded and securely packaged to the nearest factory service center. See this website (http://www.jvcservice.com/service/custnoticecamcorder.asp?ReqType=CCD) and fill out the pre-print form to send along with your camera - the repair station address will also print out for you.
It only took them six days after they got mine to fix it, and I got it back today working just fine. Good luck!

Howard Strauss - 16th Jun 2006 22:29 I have a JVC TV model No. AV32150. We had a lightning strike in the corner of our house several days ago. Now I cannot turn on my TV either by the remote control or the ON/OFF button on the TV. Is there some reset button that I can press to re-activate the system. Thank you.

Francis - 17th Jun 2006 20:43 Hi,
I have a 7-year old JVC tv (model#: AV-2749S, serial#: 17417631) where the sound does not work (even when volume is up to max) when my antenna is connected to the tv. Also, the picture turns off when the tv is slightly shaken or moved. Do you have any "fix it" tips I can do at home? If it needs to be serviced professionally, do you know how much it might cost? Thanks!
