I have been trying to get a repair man to come out for 4 weeks now and am trying to just do this on my own. I have a 56" JVC rear projection TV, model AV56WP74. There is a long purple U-shaped bubble in the top left corner of the TV. I have attempted numerous times to run the auto convergence and super focus, but that does not do anything. When I select the manual focusing, it shows the lines in the top left corner to be out of alignment, but I cannot figure out how to straighten them out. There is also a very faint line throught the middle of the TV and the upper right hand corner is out of focus, but when selecting the manual focusing, the lines do not appear to be out of alignment. The main problem is the purple U-shape in the upper left hand corner. Do you have any suggestions? The repair man said that he would just have to come and enter in a bunch of codes to fix it. He does not think that any mirrors are messed up. Thank you!

I havve a JVC GR-DVL307 with the Safeguard Mode-Remove battery error message. Removing the battery does not help. What do I need to do to fix this? Thank you, Eric

I have a JVC AV27 WF36 27" T.V. The picture is to wide for the screen. I loose parts of the picture on both ends. It is like the tv thinks it is a wide screen but it is not. The picture is also stretched a bit the corneres are wider than the middle. The Warranty expired in May of course.

I have the JVC GR-D32 and I'm trying to transfer the video to my PC. I'm using a DV connector and a firewire card on my PC. The firewire works properly. The ImageMix Software won't recongnize the camcorder. I'm using a PC operating Windows XP and service pk2. My DV cable is 6.5 feet and conforms with IEEE1394 standards. Any advice? Andy
