Assistance with JVC product
If anyone has a question regarding a problem with thier JVC product (error codes, safeguard mode etc) write me for troubleshooting assistance. Please provide your model # if available and note this site so I can assist you better.

Thanks for offering to help.
My problem is similar to others mentionjed oin the site. After 109 sec I get ared picture, lines and the TV turns itself off. To turn it back on again one has to switch the power off. But of cours eit keeps on doing the same thing.
Size is 32inch, JVC
Not sure of model but invoice says:
JVCAV-32X37SUE JVC 32 INCH TV 16:9 100HZ DIGIPURE PRO.

JB38 - 6th Nov 2006 16:35 There isn't really anything you can personally do as the symptoms you give would suggest an internal fault that is shutting the power supply down for safety reasons of preventing further damage.

JVC video Camera Model 1996. Every thing is fine except that I cannot see the image through the Lense.Want to know what may be the reason and how to solve the same.
Kindly suggest the service provider available in Hyderabad, India

I HAVE JVC 2004 MODEL 48INCH. FOR SOME REASON THE SCREEN IS CONSTANTLY LOOKING SNOWY. EVEN WITH THE CABLE HOOKEDUP. I HAD THE CABLE PEOPLE DO SOME CHECKS AND HOOKED UP THE CABLE TO ANOTHER TV AND IT WORKED FINE. SO I KNOW THAT IT IS NOT THE CABLE. THE TELEVISION HAS NOT ALSO DONE THIS, IT JUST STARTED WHEN I UNPLUGGED THE TELEVISION TO MOVE IT AND PLUGGED IT BACK UP. I BELIEVE ITS ONE OF THE SETTING BUT I DONT KNOW WHICH ONE.

Hi,
Hopefully you are still avaiable for counsel. I have the JVC GR-D33U and the image is unreadable. Also, when inserting a tape it reads, "EO3, UNIT IN SAFEGUARD MODE, EJECT AND REINSERT TAPE".
Please advise.

hi i have a problem with my jvc gr-d70u it says E02 unit in safeguard mode please remove and reattach battery i do that and the message still comes up how do i fix it?

Nicole M. - 7th Nov 2006 2:27 I have had my JVC GR-D90U for about 2 years now. I haven't used it about 3 months. I charged the battery last week and then brought on vacation with me. When I turned on the recorder and removed the lens cap i keep getting a error to "remove lens cap". Help....Please I paid good money for this and I think it needs to be repaird or tell me the how I can reset it.

i have a jvc AV 27850 and it was made in dec 1997. the timer light came on and now the light will not go off nor will the tv come on.

The symptom you describe is caused by the TV's power supply shutting down. This can be obviously be caused by a number of things, but the prime suspect and most likely reason is a well known fault that develops in that range of chassis centered around the vertical scan IC, and being either bad solder joints on the IC / a capacitor failing (C926) / or indeed by the main component itself failing.
These components are relatively inexpensive, however that only applies if you know someone with the ability to fit them for you.

Please Help!
My JVC I Art 32" flat screen tv is in trouble once again. I have had this tv for the past 5 years. The first year the picture tube went bad and had to be fixed (it was under waranty). Now I have yet another problem, there are various size horozontal white lines at the top of the screen (several rows at a time). At first they were there only at times, now they are there all the time. They look like some kind of interferance because some of them flicker and some are steady. I tried all connections but to no avail. I am not sure what this could be or what is causing the problem, but it is driving me nuts. If you could please try and let me know what might be causing this problem I would be greatful.

Hi,
3 years ago I bought this camcorder GR-DVL800. Till a month ago it worked excellent, but suddenly I got some error messages. Unit in safeguard mode E04. Reattach battery etc. What can I do to resolve this problem?
