I have a model: GR-DX97. When I went to use it, it didn't work. It will play what is on the tape but it will not record. The camera says remove lens cap when the lens cap is not on. The screen is black and there are not images. I don't know how to fix it. I have tried taking out the battery, putting the lens cap on and taking it off. I don't know how to fix it. Can you help?

When power on, showing "LENS CAP" and LCD being in black. In fact, the lens cap has already been removed. But for playback, no problem.

I have a JVC digital camcorder model # GR-D53AA Our video camera tells us to take the lens cap off when it is not on. The screen is dark, it will record sound but not picture. We are getting a symbol of a man on the left, two arrows pointing in opposite directions in the middle and mountains on the right.

Stacy, I have a jvc GR-D72 camcorder. It does not 'see' any picture if put to 'A' or 'M'. The LCD screen says the 'Lens cap', but the lens cap is not on. what is wrong and how much do you estimate for the cost of repair parts+labor? Thanks. CW

I bought 2 times those specifics tapes for cleaning but nothing happend. At the same time, the charger doesn't change the battery any longer. The green light doesn't come up anymore. I live in NAvarre, Fl close to Fort Walton or Pensacola, what should I do with the camara? Thanks for your time Claudia Symon

I have JVC model AV-56WP74. About 3 days ago when the TV was turned on the picture appeared to be seperated with a red double image. I have gone through the menu options and can not seem to remedy this problem, any help you could provide in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Chris Anaya

How can I get schematics/service manual for JVC subwoofer Model # SP-PWM505. This is part of TH-M505 home theater system, but I do not know if it has a separate manual. I am also trying to find out if the 9 pin DIN is a digital data link or analog input to the amplifier.. Any help, much appreciated. Thanks a bunch
